Wanted to love it

I had high hopes for this piece and really wanted to love it, but it just didn't work for me. The fabric is lovely and construction seems solid, but I could not figure out how to get it to look good on me. I'm 5' with a short torso, small bust, and wise shoulders in proportion to the rest of me. This top hit me at the most unflattering point of my waist, had a ton of extra fabric around the bust and just made me look kind of rectangular and meh. I don't believe that sizing down to an XS would work because it would still be too long and then would be too narrow in the shoulders. I really really wanted this to work for me but it's just a bust. Good craftmanship, terrible fit for my shape.

Not good on “round“ bodies

The color is more brick red than I anticipated from the photos-not bad, just different. I have a fairly “round“ body shape, and this sweater is definitely not flattering on me.

Wish the red was a little more Christmassy!

I really like the top - it’s a nice, lightweight layer that makes it possible to wear sleeveless or short sleeved dresses or tops in other seasons. I was just hoping that the Modern Red color was a little more of a traditional “Christmas red”. It has a slightly orange hue to my eye. No matter, I will keep it.
