Adeline Wrap Sweater

So soft and cozy but strange fit

I was VERY excited when I saw this design and was really hoping it would work for me. It looks lovely in pictures in other people but it just wasn't a good fit or flattering for my body type. The sweater material is DREAMY. It is soft and squishy and oh so cozy. It is extremely comfortable. Fit-wise, my body type is a fluffy hourglass. Things that hit directly at my waist that have a clearly defined waist don't always well well for me, because I feel they accentuate my hips and belly. This is the case with Adeline. As a tall woman, I felt Adeline is cut a bit short to the waist for my height. I tried it on quite a few times over a few days, always hoping that I would feel differently and like it better the next time. But each time, I felt like I just needed it to be an inch or two longer. The sweater material has a lot of give to it, so in my true size (XL) it felt a bit bulky and had extra fabric. I tried ordering a size down (L) but that made the "too short" feeling even worse. Adeline also has long sleeves, which was fine with me, but if I weren't as tall as I am might have been an issue. Including a couple of pics to show how when I lifted my arm up, it felt too short and pulled up. The closer in pic shows the extra fabric and the long sleeves (note there is also extra fabric bunching on the arms). I really love this style. The material is wonderful and the idea is great. And I find it looks lovely on other body types. But it wasn't for me. Hope this is helpful for other fluffy, tall hourglasses who are built similarly!

When these restocked in small I grabbed one so quick because I seriously regretted not getting it when they first dropped. So glad I did! I wear a small in Natalia's and a small in Adeline was perfect! They're so cute and cozy, I hope you restock more in small and expand the colors! ❤️😍

I wore this to work and received so many compliments! It kept me warm and it compliments perfectly with my wide legged jeans and A line dresses for perfect proportion. I now own it in gray, brown and burgundy!
