Amazing material and structure but short and straight

I was very excited about these as I love a good pair of structured pants. I was fairly certain they would be too short - and sadly, I was right. At 5'9" I didn't like the way they sit too close to my ankles rather than coming down over my shoes. I also felt that there is something a bit "manly" about the cut. I can't quite place it but the straight cut down without some curviness just doesn't fit my hourglass, curvy style. I think the model pic shows both of these things quite well. They have wonderful weight, wonderful structure, but ultimately not the fit for me. I have seen pics of other ladies who look good in them!

These are very comfortable and professional looking trousers, matches great with the Johnny jacket! I like the Sahara color, this is the first pair of wool pants I have found in this lighter color, which goes great with my wardrobe! Such a nice alternative to black, blue or grey. These are the medium regular. I actually originally bought these in medium petite, because pants tend to be too long on me and I usually wear flats. I thought the petite would be too short in the rise and just right in the length from looking at the sizing charts. However, I returned them (and forgot to take photos first) because it turned out the length was too short - the petite rise was actually perfect for my short waisted body, but I decided to exchange for the medium regular length because of the length. The photos are of the medium regular length. The length is a little long for my taste, but probably appropriate for most. I don't like the rise quite as much on the regular medium, since it hits right at the biggest part of my stomach (I usually avoid mid-rise pants for this reason). I often prefer high rise pants or pull on pants more like Rosso, as they tend to be more flattering for my belly area. I also tend to buy skinny pants, as my legs are the thin part of my body. These legs are a little big for my legs, but I would say they fit like a typical trouser on the legs.

Not good enough to keep

These pants did not wow me. I am 5’6 weigh 165. And wear a size medium. They fit mid waist. The drape is nice, but the size of pantleg for me was too big to be straight legged and too small to be a wide or barrel leg pants. Also no pockets in back which I felt was a miss. Fabric is thick and soft. Color is nice. Just not something I saw myself wearing a lot.
