Not well transposed to violin

A violinist should have been asked to check these over to make sure they were technically appropriate for violin students. They are not really. Music for an instrument tuned in 4ths doesn’t translate well to 5ths especially when it relies upon harmonics and string crossings that simply don’t exist or just don’t work for the violin. Bowing technique is very different between the instruments and no effort has been made to adjust. Simply stick it in a program take it up a few octaves and leave everything as it was does not make them violin studies. Wish I had been able to see proper examples of the ‘violin’ versions before purchase (i wouldn’t have bought them) I had intended to use these for my violin students. But now, at best, maybe aightreading the exercises

A nice change of pace

I’ve just begun to scratch the surface of Concepts and so far so good. I will enjoy playing these pieces for a long time. Thank you!
