Love this!
I don’t always want to wear shorts but live in a hot climate so wanted to try the skort—super glad I did! I am short waisted and carry more of my weight in the middle, and this fit me in the waist and skimmed over the rest. The legs were not too loose but comfortable, and the waist is at my natural waist and not too high, plus it stays up without the drawstring. I don’t use the inside pocket or the zipper pocket but have no problem with my phone or anything else in one of the regular pockets. I was worried the skort might be too long, but it hits me mid to lower mid thigh and is a flattering length. It also goes with just about everything. This item is a win!

I love it!
I like that the short section of the skort is close fitting. I have other skorts that have very loose skorts and they make me feel like I'm wearing a skirt instead of a skort. I also love all of the pockets.

Finally, a wool skort fit for the wooded outdoors!
Since embarking on my wool journey I have lamented the lack of options for skorts. Even the ones I've found can't be taken seriously: Smartwool was too short and no functional pockets for outdoor adventures (I guess lack of pockets is fine if you're always bringing a hiking backpack, but that is not my life); Woolly was a bit more modest, still lacked functional pockets and had the downside of too-soft knit fabric on the outside prone to snags. Icebreaker didn't have functional pockets and also too short. Enter this skort gem from wool&. The length is great. The fabric is a lovely durable wool blend that doesn't snag easily on the outside (super important for rock scrambling and just being in the woods in general). The pockets are the best I've seen so far, although there is room for improvement: both the zippered pocket and inside leg pocket fit and hold my phone securely (yay!); the regular side pockets are not good for much of anything beyond a few tissues (meh, but those tissues are necessary, too); for some odd reason the designers put both of the most functional pockets (zippered & inside leg) on the same side of the garment, which makes that side too bulky to really use the space well (ugh, why?!?). The fit is lovely with a mid-rise, drawstring for adjustments, and not too tight or too loose undershorts. If I were designing this garment, I would have opted for a high-rise fit to ensure the garment stays in place while using the pockets to the best of their functionality, but overall this is a great garment and much better than anything else I've been able to find so far.
