Squeak while wearing

Although these shoes were comfortable they make a squeaking sound. I ordered my 1st pair and liked them but they started to squeak while I walk. I contacted customer service about it and I got no response so I exchanged them. Unfortunately there was a $6 fee to exchange them. I got the 2nd pair, they were comfortable but again this pair also started squeaking. So this pair will be going back too and I wont be trying a 3rd pair, especially since there is a fee to exchange them, but there is no fee to return them. Which is strange. Maybe I was just unlucky but both pairs seemed to be defective. I only were them inside as I was trying them out so I don't think it has anything to do with the elements.

What happened to black pair

I purchased this identical shoe in the brown leather. It fit perfectly. So I confidently purchased it in black. This shoe is not comfortable at all. I’m terribly disappointed and am not sure if I will wear it around the house to see if it will stretch.
