SB-5000 R|Evolution

This sub is in my living/listening room that has many windows, openings to dining/kitchen/entryway, vaulted ceilings, 20x25ft+. I was skeptical about the sub filling the room with good bass. No worries! It is so smooth and quality sounding. I do run it at the upper edge of gain/level, but customer support informed me this is normal. I considered the larger SB-17 sub but it really would be too big and cumbersome for my environment. I have only had the sub a little less than 2 weeks. So far, loving it. Just another note. The auto EQ is not for me. I have run it many times and prefer without. I have had many auto tunings with other brands as well and always go back to the base. I run bass management (crossover) with my streamer and the only control on the sub I use is the gain/volume setting. Because of this I do feel I pay for features that don't apply to me.

I replaced my two PC2000. With two SB5000s …. My music and Theater sounds like it got new Life!!!
