Starting sourdough Journey

I am just beginning my sourdough journey. I wanted to make it sustainable and so didn't want to use plastic wrap for my starter or for when I cover the dough or for when I store my bread. I love this set as it has everything I need to make a loaf and keep a starter going. I've used the covered on my ceramic berry containers as well. Everything feels like great quality and will last a long time.

Cute & Functional

I can't wait to gift this to a sourdough-baker. The set is well made and functional! I love that the bread bag is lined with cotton.

Second time’s a charm?

So I bought this set a year ago and had my sourdough in the bread bag and when it molded, the mold was on the inner part of the bag. So I soaked it and scrubbed it and washed it and it still would not come out. I just saw mold marks still, so I didn’t feel comfortable using it again with future bread so I threw it out. This time, though I am putting my sourdough in brown paper bags and then in the bread bag to keep on counter.
