Great commuter pack
Really thoughtful pockets and attachments, and fits a lot but also maintains a low profile when not packed to the gills. I finally replaced my old work backpack and after considering this one for a while, I'm very glad to have purchased it.

Perfect dance bag
I bought this to use as a dance bag, which meant I needed a big open space with not much organization inside (to fit all my various warmup clothes), a sensible spot to tuck my waterbottle, and a couple small pockets for little things like my keys, wallet, headphones, etc. This bag hits all of those points! It's an absolutely cavernous main pocket that I can fit two pairs of sweatpants, two shirts, a pair of socks, two pairs of dance shoes, a hoodie if I'm too warm after class, and my water bottle into, without feeling at all like I'm overstuffing it. The organized pockets are basically the exact correct amount of organization for what I need (and I love the central water bottle pocket so the bag stays balanced!), and if I eventually find myself needing more organization, there are a couple of sensibly-placed O rings to hook a pouch to. I expected to like this bag; I didn't expect it to actually bring me a small sense of delight every time I get to use it, but it does.

A Worthy Successor
After 20ish years of hard labor, my old 1.0 Smart Alec gave up the ghost, and I am thrilled with its replacement. It's roomy enough to carry my life around in it when necessary. The straps and back padding are ridiculously comfortable. The integrated laptop storage is terrific. I couldn't be happier with it.
