Wuben E8 V2 Modular Flashlight - CC Exclusive Custom Combo Kit

Flashlight has a tendency to lose the side panels easily, also had an issue with the spring contact in the tail cap right out of the box. I almost returned it but with some tinkering it came around. Lights are very good on it, the UV light steals the show, at 2W its real powerful and carries far. Overall a pretty solid flashlight with some trade-offs, but with the fidget-oriented design that makes sense.

Overall this is a great flashlight. The main LEDs do a good job providing flood illumination. I would be nice if the side lights were a little warmer. The UV light is very handy. I know that it would be nice to have a USB port on the flashlight body, but that might be risky with an alkaline or NiMh battery installed. I also like being able to swap out a fully charged battery quckly. It is nice to have the lanyard ring and custom dock. The dock is snug but I use it to keep the flashlight steady when upright with the sidelights on. To protect the magnetic panels, I cribbed a square slide tube from another Maratac purchase. I would only have 2 requests: Please make the sliding tube cases available as an acessory purchase. Plesse consider creating a fidget spinner that could artach to the flashlight. All ib all highly recommended.

Multi functions but compact

I like the multi functions of this illumination tool. The beam is very useable with three settings, as is the “lamp” function. The UV light has come in handy trying to spot almost invisible stains on carpets and furniture (pets!). The dual fuel capability makes it a great option for a emergency pack or “get home bag”, but I have used the side lamp function the most as a handy bedside lamp for middle of the night trips. My only issue is the poly mount click mount. It is too stiff and tight and any effort to place the light into it till it clicks meets with a stuck mount on the light taking force to remove it. Still five start worthy.
