A few irritations, but still fun.
The sound, look, and reactivity to motion are generally quite good, however I have some gripes.
First, I was under the impression that it would come as it appears in the images provided, rather than having to wrap the hilt myself, which proved frustrating and the end result was less than satisfying, though there is no option to buy a replacement in that colour, so I will have to make do with the wrapping I did.
Next, the site did not make it clear that only the neopixel sabers allow for custom soundfonts, furthermore the lack of clash sound variety is disappointing, and the ignition sound it inconsistent, playing a different sound on simultaneous ignitions.
Third, the light itself seems to rattle around slightly, I’m not sure if this is intentional, or what causes the blade to flash as if it were clashing upon ignition sometimes, which is another issue entirely.
Lastly, the screws provided are weak, in the sense that trying to screw them in leads to the shape the wrench is supposed to fit in rounding out and being difficult to screw/unscrew due to lost shape.
Overall I do like swinging it around, it is fun, I’m considering getting a second to utilise the dual blade functionality, I just wish it didn’t have these issues. If there are any fixes for the problems I listed I’d appreciate
