I have multiple Lochby journals but this one now goes with me almost everywhere. I carry a notebook, pen, a few notecards, a few necessary credit cards, license and health cards, along with a small pen knife My favorite Lochby yet.

I’ll start by saying I doubt I would’ve purchased this had I seen it in person. After seeing the ads on Instagram and checking out the Lochby website, I decided to purchase the Mini Pocket Journal. I was really excited to get it, but upon opening the package I was left with an “oh, this is it?” feeling. Between the advertisements and YouTube videos, I felt strongly that this would be a “game changer” for me. From my research, I knew it would be ruggedly built, but I also thought it would look a little nicer. Mine came with a ton of lint all over it and a somewhat dishoved appearance. After moving my relatively few items from my old wallet (DL, Sams card, insurance card, debt and credit cards) plus the notebook it was pretty much maxed out on capacity. I have a little room for some cash also, but not a lot. Even with it’s “mini” size, its still quite obvious when in your front pocket. I’m new to EDC journaling so hopefully this product will grow on me.
