I like it
FYI I’m a meshtastic noob but so far I’m impressed with this product. Took it apart to look at the guts and it seems intelligently designed. I really appreciate the holster and extra antenna that are included! Havent had a chance to test the battery life or all the features yet, but I’d say I’m a satisfied customer.

Great little device
This my first meshtastic node, what a great little radio. Once connected started picking up nodes. Bought two of them so I could give one to my wife for backup of backup communications. And so far we’ve been enjoying them a lot. Just the other day we were able to communicate from 47 miles away, that is just awesome. The best feature is the ability to use them as a completely stand alone device, but warning, this feature is to be used just in case your phone dies completely, as it’s very difficult to see such a small font, but completely doable in an emergency.

It's awesome
Great piece of kit. So far it's been working great. It looks good, the buttons work great, the screen is really nice and has tons of options, really nice that you can use it to type a message on the device instead of only being able to send pre-made messages like other nodes, range is great, battery life so far is good (been on for 24 hours and is only at 78%) and im sure there's more but I've only had it for a short amount of time. If I could choose a few minor critiques it would be the case not being raised around the buttons. The buttons are flat with the case and are easy to press, so accidentally pressing them can happen. The second critique would be the corner of the case where the antenna is has a raised edge that comes close to where the body of the antenna is. So, if you were planning on putting on a larger antenna, with a thicker base, it may not fit. Lastly, the power switch button - It does well going from "off" to the last stage "on" position, which would be "on with GPS on". However, there's supposed to be a mid point that is "on with GPS off". I didn't find that worked very well because there's no indicator by look or feel to let you know you hit that point. But it wasn't a big deal because you can still turn the GPS off on the device itself and on the app. All in all it's great, and if this is your first node, you'll be very happy.
