Fenix E06R PRO RG Flat Flashlight

Not a big fan of the delay on the side buttons. It would be a great light if not for the delay, it makes unlocking and activating the light take much don't longer than it should for an edc light. The light modes are easy to use and navigate. The red light and laser are easy to switch between. The spotlight and flood light are very convenient. If not for the switches, this would be a great light.

Having both the flood and spot beams, which are slightly different colors really helps when one color doesn’t bring out the detail of something I’m inspecting. And the laser pointer makes it easier to show someone what I’m looking at without having to carry a bunch of different lights AND a laser pointer too!

From the promotions this seemed like a perfect astronomy flashlight, having white light, red light, and green laser pointer all in one package, however it is not. The green laser pointer, although rated as a type 3R with peak power <=5mW, is very dim. . It is quite useless for pointing out stars and constellations as the beam is barely visible, unlike other 3R green laser pointers. The green spot is nice and bright when it falls on an object, but that's not why I bought it, so a bit disappointed. The form factor is very nice and comfortable to carry, and the white spot/flood and red lights work very well and are easy to control. The 2nd switch on the tail for on/off and instant turbo is great, although easy to activate when storing the flashlight by pushing down to engage the belt clip.
