Comfortable for long term wear. Help with taking the edge off ambient noise while still being able to hear conversation. Good for neurodivergent sensory management. The mutes definitely reduce sound further. Was still able to side sleep with these.

Fiddly but Effective

I bought Loop Engage 2 Plus specifically to protect my ears from the loud music at church. I use them with the mutes and find I do not have ear pain after service but can still converse with people around me and hear the sermon without removing my Loops. Added bonus: they came in handy when visiting cousins who crank up the TV volume, though in that case I was NOT able to verbally communicate with the Loops in. A few detractions: because they are so small (as something that goes in the ear must needs be), they are a bit fiddly to handle. I do not find it easy to remove the ear tips and feel I need to take care not to tear them. Putting the Loops into my ears does not go as quickly and smoothly as I had hoped. I find it better to put them in before I go into the church sanctuary so I'm not messing around with my ears in front of everyone. They seems easy enough to clean so far. I like the included carrying case that I can slip in my pocket and keep my Loops on hand. Not absolutely perfect, but effective for the purpose for which I purchased them.

Not for me

The look and feel of the LOOP earplugs are top notch. . They are very discreet so it's hard to even see that they're in your ear. Unfortunately they did not work for me. I have misophonia and I was hoping that it would block certain sound frequency that I was looking for but it didn't. I was still able to hear the sounds even with the plugs in. I am a very small case so these will probably work fantastically for most people's situations.
