Original Buttermint

These are good. They have a mild flavor, but are not what I recognize as the original buttermint flavor, I first experienced in my youth. I personally feel the Crème de Menthe is closer to what I think of, when remembering the little after dinner mints, or butter mints. These are still good, I just personally prefer the others.

When they say these aren’t like the old fashioned mints we used to serve at weddings and baby showers, they weren’t kidding. Altho’ they are familiar. I’ve tried maybe 6 different flavors. Orange is still my favorite. In fact I hide it from the hubs. I tried the licorice and while the flavor is pretty spot on, it’s definitely an acquired taste. Really I haven’t found one I didn’t like yet. Just some are more my speed than others. Beware of ordering them in this heat wave. Mine have consistently been melted and need to be revived in the refrigerator. It’s just too hot for the little cold packs to last. They are sloppy liquid upon arrival. And the mints are totally glued together. I am able to break them apart after they reharden. But it’s not ideal.

Terrible!! Got my package and my 3 bags of butter mints and 1 bag of orange cream mint were all mashed together and melted. The only thing the put in the box with the mints was a tiny little ice bagthat was warm and melted by the time I got the package. Whose fault was that? Well, probably the post office who most likely let the package sit for days and this company for not packing the adequate amount of ice packs. They were just thrown in a box and an ice pack thrown on top, I guess. Not wrapping or foam or nothing. Just 4 bags of melted garbage and a tiny thawed out ice bag. I’ll stick with Amazon. I guess that what I get for trying to support small business. I always get way better service from the “BIG BAD BILLION DOLLAR’ COMPANIES but they give way better service. So too bad!!
