It’s a Beast
Love my new backyard beast 1200. It’s definitely a beast and has a lot of cooking area. This is my second Recteq and I really like the second cooking shelf. You could use half a rack or a full rack as the second top shelf. Very versatile and this smoker holds the temperature spot on. This model seems to have a nice smoke output. I cooked a pork shoulder overnight and love the Wi-Fi app that I can check the internal temperature of the meat. Looking forward to doing some more cooks. This thing will hold a lot of meat. Recteq makes a solid product and it was very easy to assemble.

Backyard Beast 1200
I have owned several pellet smokers over the past 10 years, recteq by far is the best yet. Good quality, great value ease of use. Bottom line it cook great, I use almost daily.

Awesome Smoker
I could not be happier with the Backyard Beast 1200. I am finding excuses to cook most of our meals with it. The only complaint I have is communication during the shipment. There was none. I happened to walk outside and saw the delivery man walking back to his truck. Though he was nice enough to take the package to the back porch, the website still showed that the grill was waiting for pickup. The good news is that it arrived in time for me to use it for Memorial Day, and the delivery guy was a great person.
