Transit Surf Pole Install

FVC - Appreciate the quick shipment of surf poles and surf hooks for our transit. We built a custom bottom pole bracket for one of the poles since we required a wider spacing. Everything working out well. Thank you

Just installed these on my 2020 Transit and they are great. I have been waiting for FVC to come out with these along with the second bar and it was definitely worth the wait. The racks are very well built and install was super easy (I didn’t have to use the online instructions). The only issue I do have with them is that the radius of the clamps are a little smaller than the pipes that they fit on and they leave a crease on the pipe and remove any paint around them. I don’t plan on removing these, but if I do, I’ll have to touch up those spots. All in all, it’s a great addition. For the bar install, I attached it 3’ away from the ladder. I also put the rack that goes on the ladder on the right side instead of the left to make it so a longboard will not be as close to the door.
