It is an amazing book showcasing an amazing country. Based on the book I could spend weeks in Poland. I love how not well known places are presented as well. The guide is great and gives me a lot of ideas to look further into.

Not as good as they used to be
As a long time purchaser of Lonely Planets, I was pretty disappointed. The practical information that the old Lonely Planet’s had, such as ‘getting there and away’, ‘Getting Around’ and information on where to stay and eat for each town is sorely missed. That is why I have always bought them in the past. The country history and general information is also lacking compared to past books. The writing almost had a brochure style to it - more opinion than fact. I can get opinions from the internet. If I’m buying a book I want facts. Very disappointing.
