Poor condition darts sent and disappointing service

I purchased these using one of the many loyalty vouchers that I have accumulated over the years through spending so much on Red Dragon products. When I received the darts I noticed straight out of the box that one of the darts looked used with red paint missing and scratches/chips on the barrel. I contacted customer service who asked me to send photographic evidence and on viewing these asked me to send them back making sure I sent all stems and flights too! I was then sent a replacement set which were in far better condition although they missed their intended purpose as a gift for someone who wanted red darts! However my one major take from this experience is that at no point was I ever offered an apology. It seems that customer service and the human beings operating it do not have sorry in their vocabulary. I spend and have spent hundreds upon hundreds of pounds on RD products over the years but as a loyal customer you are only a number. Take social media darts influencers on the other hand and for a couple of online views they will be sorted with endless free products and looked after by the darts companies to the hilt. It’s a sorry reflection of today’s market and unfortunately I’ll think again before purchasing darts from the Nodor group due to this poor all round experience.
