Order Protection

I was disappointed in my order experience this time. I ordered two items that were both in-stock at the time of purchase in April. In my confirmation email one of the images was wrong so I emailed to check that the order was correct, no response. I got an email that a shipping label was created, then a few days later noticed in the Shop app the shipment was cancelled. I didnt receive any communication from Awe on what was going on with the order. I reached out again and asked for an update. At this point, I hadnt received any responses. I finally was able to get a response by commenting on an instagram post after DM’ing them (comments that were immediately hidden or deleted). A few hours later I received a response to my DM and Emails telling one of my items was backordered until June. I received both items and the packaging experience from Awe has declined. They were delivered in a pouch in a bubble mailer. No more branded boxes or cleaning cloths.

I notice that so many sites are including order protection as part of the check out experience. In many instances it feels like just an extra hit to the wallet. I have had three orders with Awe. All arrived promptly in excellent condition with frequent updates. Good experience.
