Super Pocket Atari Edition

A must have for any ATARI fan!

This Atari Edition Super Pocket is wonderful! I really love everything about it and bought a case to protect it. I have not yet secured any cartridges for it, but look forward to those as well. It holds a charge for a long time and the resolution looks beautiful to me. As an old school ATARI 2600 user, I had to have it. Thank you so much!! :)

Atari Games on the Go!

This is a great little handheld for those wanting to dip their toe into the Evercade ecosystem without spending too much. With a bunch of preloaded games spanning the Atari Consoles and arcades, it's a little bit of everything. The handheld itself is about the size of a phone (so it fits in your pocket). The screen is pretty good. There are options to turn on scanlines filters, but with as small as the screen is, turning scanlines on tends to darken things more than I'd like. The forward facing speaker is pretty good considering the size. D-pad and buttons feel comfortable and responsive, but with the d-pad being all one piece, you can accidently press left or right while holding down. The shoulder buttons are a bit of pain to get to comfortably, but with the Atari games they are only used for setting the difficulty. If you get other Evercade game cartridges that make use of these shoulder buttons, it will be a bit problematic if you have larger hands. It includes some of my favorite 2600 games like Solaris, Radar Lock, and Yars Revenge; and 7800 games like Desert Falcon, Dark Chambers, and Food Fight. I would have liked to have seen the 2600 versions of Asteroids and Missile Command, but there is a lot of good stuff on here. Best part of these Super Pockets are that they are compatible with all the Evercade game cartridges. I recently picked up the Activision Collection 1, which includes 15 Activision 2600 games! Needless to say, that collection just adds to all the Atari goodness!
