Has its shortcomings but overall great pack
Pros: - I like the way it looks, what drew me to it in the first place - lightweight design, even when loaded up with my edc (which includes a 14 inch macbook, a sketchbook, a traveler notebook, switch 2, small pencil case, phone, keys, small bottle of sunscreen, pocket knife, and small lunch, extra tshirt) - comfortable for long term use, great companion to use when biking around town or to the office - affordable price - great material with easy to open zippers - the bottom compartment is great to store my lunch - small compression like straps on each side Cons: - No quick access/admin pocket - Both side pockets are a bit flimsy in my opinion (I used a carabiner to hook my waterbottle to the pack for that extra security) - sternum straps do not glide easy at all - top handle design is not great (I ended up using a paracord to make it thicker and rounder) - bottom compartment eats into the main compartment too much Overall, for the price and the design of the pack, it is a great value. I am happy to wear it every day and its already gotten a few compliments from random folks on the street.

A good all purpose bag
I really like this bag. I bought it to replace my old Naito bag which is looking a bit beat up. Materials and build quality on this bag feel great. The straps are very comfortable. The zippers are smooth to operate and seem to be high quality. The laptop pocket is good if you need that and there is a padded removable thing as well. I don't really carry a laptop or iPad or anything around so I haven't tested it, but it's handy for carrying a notebook or whatever. The top pocket is very roomy, so you can easily carry your phone, headphones, battery bank, whatever. You could also probably put some sort of small pouch in there if you want more organization. The shoe pouch thing that is shown in the video is a bit of a weird one - it's definitely roomy and good for certain things. I put some dirty shoes in there after a hike to separate them from my clothes so that was perfect. The downside is that it's kinda hard to access if you have other stuff in the bag, because it isn't a pouch that goes outward, but like an internal bag thing. So if you pack the bag and put your shoes or whatever in there, then put other stuff in the bag, once you remove the shoes everything else in the bag is going to fill that space, so if you need to put something back in there you kinda have to readjust everything. Also because it isn't an external pouch, it isn't great for putting things in that you want to access on the fly, because they could fall out when you unzip the bag . For example, on the Naito there is an external back pocket where I sometimes store my camera so I can just swing the bag around and get at it - I wouldn't really want to do that on the Extlek because I'd be worried the camera would fall out when I unzip that rear pocket. It's definitely a pocket I'd only use for larger items or items that are secured in a pouch of some sort that I am going to access when the bag is set down vs. when I am moving around. It really isn't a negative or big deal at all, just something that I didn't think of before I saw it in person so thought was worth mentioning. As far as the main bag, it's a big open pouch. I think it's perfect as an all around great backpack. If you carry stuff that you need organized, you can chuck a tech organizer or whatever in there. If you need to haul around groceries, great - there's loads of room. The bag is even roomier than it looks, it's great. The side pockets are roomy - easily fit a big water bottle, and with the straps at the top you can put something like a tripod or whatever and hold it in place securely. Overall I think its an awesome bag!

Well built, nice padding but awkward front pocket.
Well built, great materials, but front pocket is awkward to access and bleeds into main compartment. The amount of space that bleeds into that area is astounding. There is also a removable laptop sleeve which is a nice add, but seems like an unnecessary afterthought.
