These little boxes are just right for my "flatter" stud earrings and rings. At 18mm depth they're just what I need to go in letterbox friendly boxes to keep postage down for my customers. I would recommend measuring the height of the earrings, or the width of decorative rings, to make sure they will sit inside this 18mm space comfortably.
