I find the construction of these sunglasses to be great, they are smaller in size than what I though they would be and the lens is far darker than the pictures online, this is probably may fault for now sampling them in person. They will do as a good pair of sunglasses just not what I thoutht they would be.

My third pair

I’m outrageously hard on sunglasses - fly fishing guide in summer, ski instructor in winter. Glasses take a beating and I still demand top grade optics and polarization. The Redding 2 lives up to all of it and delivers. Hope this pair doesn’t wind up on the bottom of the Colorado River.

Redding 2

The Redding 2’s were part of a warranty puchase as my previous Smith glasses broke (Evolve Chamber TLT Polarchromic Glass Moss Green). The Polarchromic/polarized glass on the Smith Optics are once again superior to the products of the competition! However, I am pretty disappointed in the flimsy frames on the Redding 2’s. They don’t feel as if they are going to withstand the years of wear, that my previous Smith’s provided.
