Forget a new driver—if you want to improve your experience on the course, get a Clicgear. It turns your golf bag into a rolling command center, keeping everything you need within easy reach. I play mostly hilly courses, and I’ve been incredibly impressed with its stability on uneven terrain, how easily it pushes up steep cart paths, and how rock-solid the brake is. Opening and closing it has a slight learning curve, but after a few rounds it becomes second nature. Honestly, my only complaint is that the umbrella holder doesn’t have an adjustable angle, so on downhill slopes the umbrella can block your view. That’s a minor issue, though, and there are aftermarket solutions available. Overall, this thing is an absolute tank, and I’d buy it again without hesitation.

I upgraded from my 3.0 Clicgear to the 4.5. It’s taking some time getting used to to the silicone bag holder straps vs the bungee style on my old 3.0. They do hold better but are awkward and seem to get in the way when folding the cart. Also the upper strap could be about 2-4 inches longer to accommodate the c130 cart bags. The net bag up by the handle is too small to be of any use. Barely can get my hand in to get anything. I do like the magnet on the side for my range finder and the phone holder is nice. The cart tracks very nice and is very sturdy. It may be me, but it does seem heavier.

I had the 3.5 and now the 4.5 and it does have a lot of improvements. It took me a little while to figure out everything that’s new on it, and I will admit that the latch for the upper storage area is a little finicky, so I am strapping it in a little bit more tightly with my own band.. I’m hopeful that the break on this one will last much longer than it did on the prior model but overall it looks great. It operates smoothly and I’m happy with it.
