We love t4l! My 1st grader is almost done with his 1st grade year, we went from a pretty rough year in public school struggling to even get him to school, when he use to love the idea and to Learn new things, to thriving, and loving to learn again!

The curriculum is fine. The presentation is a bit more childish than I would expect for a first grader. At times, my first grader rolls her eyes at the character and what they say.
It is also really difficult to go in and edit each lesson. Before a couple of years ago, my son used this as his schooling for kindergarten and it was much easier to mark something completed that was not registering as completed.
I think the math presentation is a little less childish and more appropriate than the language arts.
Overall, we are going to stick with time4learning. I do like the curriculum. And we have switched so many times now to find a homeschool program that works best for our family.
The science is hit or miss. Some lessons are way out of the scope of a first grader. And living in the United States we’ve noticed the metric system being used a bit. I don’t mind, but I I think a core knowledge before introducing the metric system would be a little less confusing.
There are updates now that there were not a few years ago. I can appreciate some of them. And I do hope that there are improvements continually being made to the curriculum and it’s presentation

This homeschooling program is good for beginners. The only down fall is that I wish it was longer assignments also that it offered art and music & that it graded everything not with actual grades not just certain ones. Definitely using again though because it is easy to manage and to learn from.
