Not practical for Ark Pro L-Shaped Standing Desk

I bought this to use on the Ark Pro L-Shaped Standing Desk (the $2,600 one). The drawer and the metal cross beams are in the way. I think there is one way to get the try to fit amongst all of that; however, the tray ends up sitting too far below the desk top (about 10”) making it impractical to use. The tray itself seems of good quality, but the fit on this desk is poor.
