X-Dome 1+

Perfect tent for the UK environment, love it !

Used my x dome 1+ to do the Badger Divide, which is from Inverness to Glasgow through the Scottish highlands.. Had a mixture of weather, and of course some heavy rain at times. The tent was absolutely faultless, and could not recommend it enough to others . One thing I would ask for especially for the UK, is short aluminium poles. I have the short carbon ones, and they are excellent, but would happily sacrifice a little weight for a set of short aluminium poles. Hopefully they are in the pipeline for the near future, please Dan .

Sometimes it's not just about the quality of a product—it's the service and customer support behind it that truly make a company stand out. I recently had the chance to finally use my new X-Dome 1+. I got the tent set up, organized all my gear, and was ready to relax when a French bulldog decided to sprint full-speed into the tent. The collision snapped the pole ferrules and tore the fly. Despite the unexpected damage, I managed to MacGyver a repair that kept the tent functional for the remainder of the trip, even through some fairly strong winds. When I contacted Durston, I wasn't looking for a handout—I simply wanted to know if replacement parts were available for purchase. To my surprise, they went far beyond my expectations to help resolve the situation, despite the damage being completely unrelated to any fault in their product. That level of customer service is rare these days and speaks volumes about the company and the people behind it. The X-Dome 1+ had already impressed me in the field, but Durston's willingness to help after the fact turned me into an even bigger fan. Thank you, Durston, for the outstanding support. after spending 16 hours in my Plex, ive had my eye on this tent. like the option to chill under the fly to ditch the bad weather without an additional tarp. Perfect 1 + size. i got the solid and it was noticeably warmer and draft free as advertised. packs down smaller than the Plex. i was surprised it was in stock and bought immediately and the last one. Guess someone found it under a desk? And i had it in 3 days. great service. ill be getting the mesh inner once back in stock. waiting for that email.
