Essentials Earl Grey Black Tea

Delicious

This Earl Grey is the best I have ever had. It's flavor is only enhanced with a bit of sweetener (I use raw honey) and it stands up well to milk. This is one of my staple teas in my cupboard.

Good Earl Grey if you prefer lighter blends

I was surprised to find that this one doesn't have the full-bodied quality of most other black tea blends at August*, but I found that combining it with some lapsang souchong I had in my cupboard brought it more in line with my tastes. (I am reliably informed that I take my tea like a northern English granny, so this may be a me problem.) The bergamot flavor, at least, was excellent -- clean, bright, pure, and strong. Clearly a very high-quality blend, just not as dark as I like. *Come to think of it, actually, I've been noticing that the new black tea blends I've sampled have almost all run lighter than my old standby faves (Metropolitan, Jet Black, and Leatherbound), so maybe this is where things are headed at August. Hmmm.

Loved the flowery taste, very smooth. Better then other Earl Grey teas I have tried in the past.I lt was a very good price as well. Look forward to ordering it again
