I have a vintage receiver that needed a streamer. The WiiM Ultra was super easy to add into the system and sounds great. It is extremely fully functional. It supports the music services you want. It has nearly all the inputs you could ask for (the only thing missing is AirPlay 2). It also includes many control options, including Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, the WiiM app, and Roon. The audio quality has been fantastic, and I have yet to experience any sort of lag, skips, or drop outs. It's been rock solid.

A pc speaker connection was all I needed....

I get vertigo from headphones. Usually a few days of nausea. I needed an audio solution for linux gaming pc. I wanted a great experience so I bought pricey (for me) bookshelf speakers. I bought wiim vibelink to connect the passive speakers. It sounded good but I have some old floorstanding speakers from the 80's on my tv that made the bookshelf speakers sound small and highlighted the missing bass. I decided to add a subwoofer to the pc but vibelink had no "sub out". What a surprise. Sell me half a solution and wait for me to come buy the second half. Shame on me. I don't like companies that play this game . I bought the wiim ultra to add the sub thinking of the added value of room correction, eq, crossover tuning etc. I do like these features . It's nice to select a different listening position profile while in the kitchen vs sitting at the computer. I do think they rely on the app and the alexa microphone too much. The remote could be much better. The optical out works well, I have no complaints about the sound. I occasionally listen to streaming radio but I get derailled changing channels with the phone app. I'd like a scroll forward /back and 40 presets in designated banks with big iconic display symbols to change genre banks etc..... Just saying, it could be a much better experience. It's good. I feel like I should have been able to do what I wanted for 200.00 but I had to spend 700.00 USD once I bought the vibelink, the ultra and the silver remote that should have been included with the silver ultra (instead of the ugly, vanishing , black remote). I think the product category is not as big as it needs to be before the really great effects from economies of scale kick in. Products lack polish and are overpriced. I also feel like wiim is spending a fortune to skew influencers . I used to think when everyone recommended something , it must be great. Now I know, it must be affiliate commissions. It does what I need and works well but I'm not happy about the purchase. Wiim offered me approximately 65 dollars to change 3 star rating to 4 stars.

The Ultra sounds amazing! Best upgrade for my speakers I’ve ever heard (used to just stream from my phone). The app is easy to use, too, including room sound correction. The on-screen controls are great for when you don’t want to use a phone. Love this product!
