Verona - Pewter

Nice Shoes, but Not as Comfortable as I had hoped

I was so excited to receive my Verona-Pewter shoes. Sadly, they did not quite meet my expectations. The padding is wonderful. The style of the shoe is really nice. But the comfort of the shoe is lacking. The tongue is more narrow than some of my other shoes, and it painfully rubs the tops of my feet because of the pressure from the top straps. If the tongue were wider, the edges would be on the side of my feet and not on the top, which would not cause rubbing by the straps.

More stretch

I really like that the openings don’t open all the way to the insole to allow toes to hang over the sides. The toe box isn’t wide enough & I wish the material was all the stretchy kind and not the leather at the front 2/3 the foot & toe box where one needs flexible materials for the fore foot and toes to be expand especially impact

Not what I'd hoped

The shoes weren't as comfortable as I'd hoped, on me they felt like one shoe was smaller than the other. The back velcro strap only has a small length to attach the strap too and when I tried to make it looser for more foot comfort it would detach and flop around, creating a tripping hazzard. I probably won't get much use out of them, I may return them.
