Protected the noggin!!
I had a pretty wild fall on an 11B that was super overhung. Spun on the way down and hit my head, scary but if not for this little helmet I wouldn’t had a very bad day.

Lightweight, Sturdy, Great for Caving
Bought this to replace a Half Dome helmet from the early 2000's. Glad I did! The strap holders for cave lights are improved, as is the ventilation. Feels sturdy without being too heavy.

Half Dome Delivers
Solid helmet choice. I find it more comfortable than some other models at BD. Been using it at the crag and in some southern Utah canyons. The headlamp holder is super convenient, it stays put well and protects the noggin. What else do you need?
