Solid Dish Soap

Unsure, not completely effective

This soap doesn't foam at all, and I've found it to be less effective overall than regular liquid dishsoap. It also turns the water a cloudy blue-ish color, which isn't a problem, but is a little strange. It does help scrub things off, but doesn't really dissolve stuff when soaked for a while like a traditional dishsoap does. It's also much more annoying to apply, since you have to manually rub it onto things. It's useful for some things, but not a complete replacement IMO.

My sink smells better

I've use several of these in lemongrass scent now. When I used my old liquid soap, I noticed that I had to clean the sink itself more. There was a weird smell coming from the pipes. After switching to this one, I have noticed the smell has not returned. Thanks!

Bit of a change in my routine

I hate doing the dishes. Every few months I end up getting a new tool to try to make it a less dreaded chore by adding some novelty. I put this bar on a plate next to my sink and rub a scrub brush over it to uses on my dishes as I go. I feel stuck in my routine of "regular" bottles dish soap, and this won't replace all uses of that familiar blue liquid, but it will significantly cut down on my overall use which is also progress. This is worth adding to your routine.
