I was unsure about purchasing this based on the reports of disconnecting Joycons, but rhe ergonomic issues with the Switch are far worse with the heavier Switch 2, so i had to do something and I couldn’t a similar style travel case/grip combo i liked, so i decided since I had never purchased anything from dbrand or even heard of dbrand before detach-gate I could definitely blindly trust them to fix the issue. I figured I’d regret it, but in fact I’m absolutely delighted with the killswitch. The fit is impeccable, the grippy texture of joycon covers is so delightful, and the shape of the grips are the best of any grip I’ve tried. And they nailed the detachment fix. These aren’t comibg off on their own. I’m not a fan of adhesive, so i didn’t use the optional joycon adhesive rounds, or the kickstand cover, but neither seem necessary. The grips are super secure and the kickstand looks and works fine without. And i never knew I needed joystick covers until now. They are pure delight.
