Poodle Ebike

Got the Puckipuppy Poodle with Premium Accessories Package (separate review). Assembly was not terribly difficult. There are some issues with the instruction manual - headings with wrong titles & some odd phrasing that may be translation issues, but with a little focus, one can figure it out. The ride is nice, and everything functions as I expect, with just some slippage of gears, which I'm confident can be fixed with derailer adjustment. Throttle acceleration is nicely responsive and a great boon for climbing hills. I do wish the display had two things: a Battery Level gauge and a real-time clock display. One issue I have is that the Setting to "Clear Trip Data" when selected as "YES" only clears the data that one time. It does not (as stated in the instructions) clear the trip data EVERY time the system is keyed off.

Have only ridden about 8 miles. So far everything is great. Quality exceeded my expectations. The electric motor is quiet. The sensor and controls work very well together. The ride was very enjoyable even with many hills.

This bike is everything we need. After several years of research we choose PuckiPuppy ebike. This bike is lightweight, comfortable and easy to handle. We are excited to use them at the beach soon. Learning to use this bike will take some time. Updated review will follow. BTW we bought two bikes.
