effective but it needs improvement
I think the older detox menu tasted better. Some of the meals I had to choke down, though being hungry enough made them edible. The two green soups were especially bad. The asparagus and pea soup had asparagus strings throughout, which were unappetizing. The green curry soup had large chunks of onion (I mean large, like whole rings) and the broth was only halfway blended. Think of a creamy green soup or a smoothie that never fully came together. I make a lot of cream of veggie soups at home, so I have a reference point, and these missed the mark. All the meals seemed a bit thrown together. Not a lot of care put into the execution which is disappointing considering the cost. That said, I did experience some solid detox effects and lost 2 pounds. I also appreciated not having to think about what to eat during a detox. Worth trying at least once, but not something I would repeat at this point.

Asparagus soup has little fiber like sticks from the asparagus which makes it hard to enjoy. I strained it but was left with 1/3 edible. The menu says bean soup which is so delicious but you substituted. You need to sell the tonics on your weekly meals. Love them! Everything else was great.

It was ok!
I ordered Sakara the week before my Bachelorette trip to try to look and feel my best! I had a hard time with the extreme amount of fiber and it made me so much more bloated than when I started. The full detox was probably too much - I'd just do dinners next time and make my own healthy lunch with less fiber. Customer service was not particularly helpful as I had many uneaten meals!
