Dental Pod Pro

I purchased this product to coincide with me getting supplied with my retainers. I have been using the product morning and night for the past week and my retainers are very clean. I use a Zima cleaning tablet daily and my retainers feel fresh in my mouth. I would definitely recommend this product.

I was very nervous about this, because I’d seen it advertised on YouTube, which is normally a red flag. I’m glad I risked it though. It does a great job. Previously, I was soaking my aligners in steradent everyday. After I used this, they got so much cleaner. The Zima tablets do a lot of the work - with them the aligners come out sparkling. When I use steradent in it instead, they come out a bit more stained but still very clean. I was disappointed that I didn’t see the discount on the tablet subscription if I took it out when I ordered the machine. I would have done that if I’d known. The tablets are too expensive for me at the moment so I have to use cheaper alternatives.

My original Zima pod suddenly stopped working for reasons I couldn’t fathom, but was still under warranty. The customer service was brilliant - easy form to fill in, quick response from a named Customer Service agent and the outcome was an upgraded replacement with no quibbles. The new DentalPod Pro is fab with the detached base (much easier to fill, empty and clean) and the 15-min extra clean cycle is a great idea, given my night guard is now 18 months old and showing its age with staining. I would highly recommend this product to anyone with guards, retainers etc. Even though I don’t think the staining will ever shift, it always feels clean and fresh when I put it in each night. I wish I had had it when I first started wearing a night guard!
