Super lightweight, crystal-clear optics, and they stay put no matter how sweaty the hike gets. I’ve worn these on several hikes and barely notice they’re on. Fantastic comfort, zero fogging, and excellent trail visibility. Worth every penny!

Happy so far, even after a warranty replacement

I was a bit hesitant to spend nearly $200 (on sale) for sunglasses. But these had the fit, tint range, and other features I was looking for so I took a chance. Wore them on a trip in the Alps where we had everything from early morning light to bright sun on some stretches of snow. The 0-3 tint rating covered those conditions well. (I don't think I'd go as dark as 4 unless I planned to be on snow all the time, in which case I'd get the Ultimate Cover). These are great for all the conditions I usually encounter and I've also worn them on daily runs. They transition quickly from dark to light, and the rose tint definitely helps with contrast. They rarely fog--only on the most humid of days when I start walking up a steep hill but they're fog-free like 95% of the time. Also happy to know they're protecting my eyes (and eyelids) from UV damage--the wrap-around style really helps with that. The fit is good for larger heads and even smaller nose bridges. I had to contact Julbo about a warranty issue--was a bit annoyed about that at first but their support team made it super easy and I had a new pair a week or so later.

Perfect do everything shades

What can I say, they really do it all. I drive a truck route with frequent stops, so I really appreciate the transition effect. They're minimal tint in the truck, so I don't have to worry about not seeing what I'm doing in low visibility situations, but when I step outside, they seamlessly adjust to the ambient light. They're also very light and comfortable, perfect for all day, set it and forget it wear.
