Halifax Jerk

Love it!

I wasn’t sure what to expect. The color was an unattractive tawny brown and the ingredients didn’t seem like they’d add up to be a kind of hot sauce I would typically like. This stuff is outstanding. The flavors remind me somewhat of the bold flavors of A1 brand steak sauce, except that the citrus really leaves a clean finish. Not overly sweet, but just enough to balance out the tangy, savory flavor. Then of course there’s the heat- hot but not punishing to a person who likes things a little on the extra spicy side. So far, this has paired really well with chicken and also with veggie sandwiches, but I could see this going well with everything. If you’re on the fence because it seems a bit adventurous, give it a try. I did and I was rewarded with an exceptional experience.

Have only sampled. About to try it on some wings real soon. I did like what I sampled so far
