The best got BETTER! The added weight and slight adjustments to the tension spring really helps with getting a close but non irritating shave. You don’t feel the need to have to apply more unneeded pressure (leading to irritation). If ur on the fence about trying a proof razor in general…DO IT! If you are considering upgrading ur existing proof razor…DO IT!

This is a very well made razor! I have no complaints about the construction or quality. It would be great for someone who shaves every day. However, if you are NOT new to wet shaving, it may not be for you. I'm keeping this to travel with, but much prefer my Lupo .96 double edge if I have more than 1 days worth of growth. If you are new to wet shaving and want a well-made, simple, built to last razor, this would be perfect.

Took a few shaves to get the hang of the razor. I was used to non-pivot safety razors and was going a little too easy with this Proof product. Once I got the level of pressure required to engage the pivot, the shave was more efficient and comfortable.
