HD1 Squat Rack Functional Trainer

In the two weeks I’ve had the HD1, I’ve been impressed. I wanted a quality, budget friendly home gym and this delivers. Assembly was easier than I anticipated, investing ~ 7 hours to complete. Assembly instructions could be improved, but otherwise I am very satisfied with the purchase.

The HD1 Squat Rack/Functional trainer does almost everything right, and for the price it’s exceptional. I can’t stress enough how happy I am and how awesome it is to have both a 1:1 and 2:1 weight stack pulley system. The pull up bar is awesome with so many options, all the accessories you get add so much value not to mention the weight horns for holding your plates, the lat pull downs in a 1:1 feel great. The sturdiness and build quality is as good as you would hope. I could go on and on about all that I love but simply put, I’m happy with my purchase and all that came with it at the price point. No regrets! No buyers remorse! Now for the 3 things I don’t like. 1: The safety arms are just too short. I am glad I have them and that they are part of the purchase but they don’t give me the feeling of safety because I worry about what happens if I miss them should I ever fall (during squats). That is not a feeling I should have. 2: The 1:1 low row pulley that is an added cost accessory kind of interferes with the trolly when the trolly is bottomed out. You won’t be able to articulate the pulley on the trolly and if your not mindful and careful you could damage the trolley or low row pulley if your being rough with moving things around. 3: I don’t think this is a true 1” 3x3 rack in terms of imperial vs metric. I have found that some accessories stated for a 1” 3x3 rack have not fit. That’s not the fault of Blazzed or the accessory vendor, it just makes finding things harder to figure out. Note: these aren’t deal breakers but just my minor knit picks. Blazzed slayed with this rack.

The HD1 machine works great! Perfect fit for my home gym, and the team was amazing to work with through some damage that occurred in the shipping process.
